I wanted to add a little something so I printed out numbers on my cricut and used the back piece as a stencil.
Here she is all finished up with a little distressing...
I think she'll blend in nicely with the new look. Can't wait to show you what I'm doing next. Have a fantastic weekend. Love, Kelly

ReplyDeleteThat is awesome - I'll have to be on the lookout for an old stepladder to do the same with...thanks for the great idea!
ReplyDeleteI so love ladders...and numbers...this is perfect! Great transformations!
ReplyDeleteJust when you thought you've seen every not-so-cute item white paint can transform, someone comes along and shows you once again that no man's trash is really trash because you can make just about anything adorable by painting it white! In case that isn't clear, I love it! I would never in a million years have seen the potential in that ladder. Love the numbers too. Just that little something extra really makes it work.
ReplyDeleteThat's the perfect size step ladder. It turned out great!
ReplyDeleteGlad I stopped by from New Friend Friday!
Your ladder looks fantastic! And you have a lovely blog! I am so glad I found you through My Romantic Home.

Melinda
Adorable! Looking forward to seeing it "in place".
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeletecute!!! is there a place to get those cricuts for a decent price? or are they super expensive in general? i am hearing more and more about these awesome machines! LOVE your ladder.
ReplyDeleteI love how this turned out! What a transformation, thanks for the inspiration. xo Lidy
ReplyDeleteI saw your post over at Frugalicious Friday and had to come over and tell you how much I like this idea and hope to find one of my own to create!!
ReplyDeleteOh I really love how this turned out!!! Thanks for linking up!!
ReplyDeleteI'm wishing I would not have let hubby get rid of our old ladder when we moved! This is so cute
ReplyDeleteI have the exact little ladder all weathered and full of potential. Can't wait to follow and see what you do next and how you tie them together. Now I have to get going, to pick up more freebies (Craig has been great this weekend). 3 $10 tables, free table and chairs, free small wood cabinet. The garage is going to be full of fun and I will be painting all because of your inspiration. eBay has been successful, let's hope Craig will too! Husband probably wouldn't understand except, I tell him about your stories and he has been pleasantly surprised at my copied success. So... I bring home more trash and freebies! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove it love it love it!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I would go up those stairs I would be counting, and then again backwards on the way down. :)
I have a ladder exactly like that one. What a great idea! The numbers are perfect on there. Hmmm, now you have me thinking!
ReplyDeleteI've been working on a ladder re-do myself this week! Yours is so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a smart idea! I would love to try this too. Coming over from Funky Junk Interiors - was following you from my old blog (OneCheapB*tch) and finally following you from my new blog!
