ReplyDeleteI agree with Katie. You are so talented! I love reading about each treasure you create!
Tell us again how you did it? Sand, prime, paint and spray painted the legs?
Hope that you are getting really close to meeting your Florida goal!

Edie,
ReplyDeleteThank you for the encouragement. For this piece, I just sanded the top, spray painted the bottom (legs, and detail on edge) then rolled the top (3 coats). After the paint dried I gave it all a light sanding. Thanks again.
I LOVE it, and I think the black looks better than cream. That's just me though. The thing that gets me is the infinite amount of patience it requires to paint furniture. Kudos to you, 'cause i am NOT patient enough to wait for things to dry properly, oh, and sand. So, I'll just continue to ooh and aw at your work.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous table, nice shape too. I'm a bit partial to black. I just painted one up black to use in my entryway as well. Nice job.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have that table looking for a entry table my self. Don't think you would have any problem selling it.

She's so great - and how cool that you did her baby room. That was beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! What finish did you use? I am guessing satin maybe?

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for all the kind words about my table. I've had it on craigslist a couple hours and I already have someone coming to look at it tomorrow. Wish me luck. Also, the Whimsical Princess wondered what finish I used- Semi Gloss. Thanks again, you guys have really made my day!
ReplyDeleteIt looks terrific! I would definitely list it for $125.00. You can always come down if you don't get any calls, but I am sure you will!
