Trash To Cash Wednesday!

This was a super slow week on ebay, with most items that sold receiving only one bid. With the holidays being so close I imagine the next few weeks will be the same. What did sell this week were dresses! Let's take a look at my top sellers... This Ann Taylor Loft size 4 petite black dress sold for $8.00
This Express Size S black knit wrap dress also sold for $8.00
This Spense Size 16 Black & White Polka Dot Dress sold for $8.00
This Tommy Hilfiger Size 4 Tan Halter Dress sold for $9.00
And the only item this week that received multiple bids was Anthropologie's Bizz Size Large Brown Dress. It sold for $12.02. Here's the weeks totals...

Ebay Profits:$256.48
Craigslist Profits:0
Costs: 25.00(clothes), 28.48(ebay fees), 14.31 (paypal fees)
Total Profit: $188.69

If things are a little slow for you, don't worry, they will pick up again after the holidays- In the meantime, I know I'm enjoying the break I have with less items to ship! Another positive note is that I sold ALL of my craigslist items at the estate sale this weekend! Let us know how your sales are going- go ahead- leave a comment, we love to hear from you. Love, Kelly.

  1. Funny: Ive resold that same dress in the first picture! If it had been a larger size I would've kept it for myself. I thought it was a really neat dress:)

  2. It's the slow season. I actually stop selling now and enjoy the holidays. We'll be on vacation the first two weeks of January also. I'll start up again mid January/early February. That seems to be the time when ebay shoppers are back and ready to bid! Good luck until then and Happy Holidays.

  4. Anonymous,
I haven't opened a store because it's not financially beneficial for me. I generally only post 1 picture in my listings and with the free 100 listings a month (you don't receive this benefit if you have a store) it is more expensive to have a store with no benefit for the type of listings I do. You can learn more about having an ebay store by going here

  5. Well I think we all agree, unless your selling Toys for Christmas, it has been a slow week. I too will take a break until mid January. Wait the free 100 listings expires sometime around the 7th of January I think. So I may list earlier.........Merry Christmas!

  6. Beautiful dresses! At the moment, I really love wearing them myself. So if I find some in my size, I think they'll make a home here, rather than elsewhere. ;)
