The can is covered in 2 different patterns of scrapbook paper and then adhered with mod podge. I cut 3 slits in the top of the can and pushed the star garland through. I then twisted the star garland ends together so they don't slip into the can. Twist each piece of garland around a pencil to give it a spiral look. The best part is you can fill these canisters with cookies, sticky popcorn, sparklers, or almost anything and give it as a gift. Hope you have a fantastic weekend. Love, Kelly.
