No garaging for me this weekend, as I was holding a garage sale of my own with my neighbor. We did great- earning almost $1,000 between the two of us. Mr. Right, however, ventured out on his own and did an amazing job. Not only did he bring home a whole pile of New With Tags Ann Taylor Loft dresses for $1.00 each, but he also picked up these great finds...Two french style pictures in beautiful frames (should these be chalkboards- or sell as is?) for $1.00 each.
Vintage bingo cage and balls for $5.00. I'm not sure what the balls are made of, but I just love them- they look like gumballs. I'll be taking this to the shop, but putting a hefty price tag of $49.50- because honestly, I won't be disappointed if it doesn't sell.
I was able to recover the photos from my phone- the quality isn't so great, but this week I will be showing lots of before and afters from my redo's last week. Here's some silverplate pieces Mr. Right picked up for $1.00 each. The spoons are for grapefruit and have the greatest patina.
And finally, a Bible from 1865. This was actually given to Mr. Right by some very flirty older women. They were asking $10.00 but he wasn't sure if I'd want it for that price so they said, "just take it" I tell ya, I gotta keep an eye on my man- If I don't, somebody else will. Just sayin. Hope you found some treasures too. Love, Kelly.
