Here's the last project I wanted to share from my tween's room redo. I picked up this wall art at a yard sale for a few bucks.

I didn't love the color or style of these pieces, but I was drawn to the square shape and knew I could do something with them. With a little paint and scrapbook paper here's how they look now...

It's always difficult to find artwork for those skinny wall spaces and this worked out perfectly. Here's a close-up of the paper...

The vertical stripes match the sheets and the chandelier cord fabric.

And I love this floral pattern. So, for less than $5 we put together some simple art that can be changed out when my tween's ready for another room redo- I don't even want to think about that! Friday I'll have the full room reveal posted so come visit us again. Love, Kelly
I love her style! Her room is going to be beautiful not sure she'll ever want to leave. I remember fighting my Mom for the furniture and decor in my room. Lovely work!
ReplyDeleteThis looks great. I love using scrapbook paper in my decor. We used it in my niece's room (she is 14) and did not dare tell her that it wasn't from the mall.
