Amazing

Amazing.
It's amazing to think it rained like this in Mesa yesterday.
(I didn't take this video.  I found it on youtube).
It was powerful, frightening and breath-taking all at the same time.
Amazing.
My sweet Chandler, my helper on late nights taking EBay photos and we talk about what you're learning at school, who you have a crush on and the latests songs you want to download on your IPOD.
You now have bigger feet then me, Mr. 9 in men's shoes.
Amazing.
Payson, my boldest child.  You were the first to ask Channing Frye, power forward of the Phoenix Suns to stand up so you could see how tall he was.  You talked to him like you'd known him your whole life.
I marvel at your ability to be in the moment, to be spontaneous and have fun.
You were also the one who changed the note on my bedroom door.  It read one thing, but you crossed it out and posted your own message.
Amazing.
Mayer, you didn't wince once about starting kindergarten.  You walked to school that first day with your big brothers and never looked back.
I love how you enjoy your life.
You have such clever ideas for the trash I bring home.

Amazing.
Reef.  I've convinced you you're a monkey.  We swam all summer, with you holding onto me like a little monkey boy, back and forth across the pool and now you're swimming on your own.
What a big boy you are.  I love playing peek a' boo.  You are truly delightful.
Amazing.
Eden, my little girl, smiling like there's no tomorrow.
Although you're tiny and petite, you have enough chubs on those little legs for me to grab and tickle.
Amazing.
That I'm eating less of this
and more of this (protein bar with dried blueberries) and I live to tell.
Amazing.
To think I found this at the thrift store for $4.00.  It's awful, alright, but maybe I can make it look amazing.
"I'll paint it white, fill it with photos of my kids and share it with my mother-in-law for her birthday."
I'm happy to say, she loved it.
Amazing.
I shop for my mother-in-law's birthday.  She loves strawberries and decorates her home with collectibles and antiques.  I'm really happy with the perfect gifts I find her at my thrift store.
I paid under $10.00 for both of these strawberry pieces.
Amazing.
Many of your know I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
I served a mission on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah, home of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
When I saw this video, I felt the love of God.
I felt the love I have for my children, my family, my friends.
Amazing.
