Cubby Cabinet Complete!

Here's the before picture of the cubby cabinet I bought this weekend for $50. It's hard to tell from the photo, but it had an espresso finish and a few dings.I sanded down the dings, gave her a fresh coat of Rustoleum's Semi Gloss Black and distressed the edges. Here she is, in her permanent home in our TV room.
I've been collecting up reproduction vintage cars and airplanes at garage sales but didn't have a place to display them. Thanks to Mr. Right who placed them on our new piece- I think they look great and now the room feels complete. I don't know if anyone has been keeping track of how many pieces I've purchased, refinished, photographed under these frames and then sold- but I'm sure it's at least 4 or 5. I kept saying, "I'll find something better". And now, I finally did. Here's a closer look...With my new pottery barn pillows (okay, new to me) that I picked up last weekend at a yard sale, I was able to bring a little yellow in the room. Yeah for color! I was so happy my Z gallery canisters fit so well- I love these, but again, didn't have a place for them. This is the joy of collecting trash- If I can't find a place for it, I sell it- But if I really love it, I'll eventually find a way to showcase it in my home. Thanks for stopping by. Love, Kelly
