This Weeks Garaging Finds

Another great weekend of Garaging. This time I knew I had to get some great finds on Friday because Saturday we needed to be at rehearsal for Joseph at 8:00am. That would mean, only an hour of Saturday garaging. Everything pictured here is from Friday. This amazing antique chair with its original wheels, might be missing it's upholstery, but for $2 I had to have it. I'm sure I can have Mr. Right cut new wood forms to upholster- but I'm trying to think of a different use- Any ideas? This sweet antique dresser was $25. It does have a crack in the top, but I think it adds a little character. I'm probably not going to paint this piece, but we'll see.
These scallop plates are Limoges (from france) $15 for the set of $6 is really a steal.
I picked up another glass knob, this one is just a pull knob for $2, a transferware plate for $1 and an ironstone bowl for .50.
This set of 3 tables were $75. I plan on painting them cream and selling them on craigslist. The oval gold frame was $5 and the white frame $1.
This old music stand was calling my name, and my paintbrush! It was $2 and will make a great make-over item. I don't usually photograph clothing that I purchase at Garage sales, but I had to show you a few finds...This adorable giggle moon, with tags, outfit was $2.

This mudpie girlie outfit, also with tags, was $2. These will be great on ebay. I hope you're weekend was as great as mine. I'm a little nervous for May- Garage sales slow way down when it heats up in Arizona. Hopefully we have a few more weeks left! Love, Kelly

  6. Love that dresser, it has amazing character. It would look pretty painted a bright color or stripped down and re-stained. Great find.
