My Little Picasso

I sell a lot of frames at the shop. Sometimes I use them to make chalkboards- like this tall cream oneSometimes they become chicken wire frames

And sometimes I just sell them as empty frames
Most of these frames come with some type of artwork in them- so what do I do with the artwork? I donate them to my little girl...
While I paint my furniture, she sits outside and makes amazing creations- sometimes for hours.
And it makes her happy. And that's what it's all about- right? Have yourself a happy weekend. Love, Kelly.

  1. You should frame HER artwork; it's as good as what you see in some galleries! Love the pink theme she's got going on in this painting.

    So cute!

  2. That is the most creative idea I've seen yet. I think I'm pretty thrifty, but I would never have thought of that!

  3. Thank you for stopping by my blog, it's really nice to meet you! I've enjoyed your blog and look forward to future post. I've recently returned to school, so I'm a little slow getting things posted lately. Hopefully I'll get back into the swing of things soon!

  4. Kelly:

Thais is a GREAT idea! I hadn't thought of that either.

I enjoy seeing how you involve your family in your creative (and thrifty) genius.

Her art is beautiful--and so is she, so cute!
    Peace,

  5. I make earring stands with my frames and flyscreen.

I really like the chicken wire thought. Do you nail in place or staple gun?

I might do a blackboard for a gift. You've inspired me yet again :-)
