There's usually not many sales on holiday weekends, but Mr. Right and I got lucky on Friday and found a few treasures.
Are the tables to die for or what? You won't believe it when I tell you the price. Okay, maybe you'll believe it. We paid $25.00 for the set. These are Chris Madden tables that they sell at JC Penney but I really needed the side table and I love the lines of it. The coffee table will probably be a craigslist item... probably.
This iron thiny was purchased at an estate sale- I paid one price for all my purchases, so I'll share the price at the end. The water pump was $5.
Here's some more estate sale items- A tray and 3 vintage brooches. I love the details on this tray- I'll probably paint it out because the colors aren't quite right for me. The brooches will be saved for future projects- I'm not quite sure what, but I like them. So... The iron thingy, the tray and 3 vintage brooches for $20.00. A little higher than usual, but this was an estate sale and I really fell for these pieces.
These two urns are just plastic, but will make great planters. They were $1.00 each and the lamp was also $1.00- I have the perfect shade and it will look great after a few coats of paint. After hitting the sales here at home we headed up north to Pinedale for our family reunion. We had perfect weather and were even able to shop some garage sales Saturday morning. I didn't find anything for me, but the kids picked up some games and a few toys. I realize I'm really spoiled with great garage sales here in the valley.
