My Mother's Day Weekend

No, I didn't.
Yes, I did.
I know what you're thinking because I thought the same thing.
But it was only $3.00 at a garage sale this weekend.
Seriously, I still want to explore my inner-crafty self, even if I flop.
In Eden's room I have an angel theme in the works.
I brought home this lamp from the Fraser Field Swap.
Is there anyway white spray paint and a pink lamp shade can redeem my $3.00 purchase?
I'll give it a try and let you know.
Another spray paint possibility? I found this at Goodwill on half-off day for $2.00. Something about the curves . . .
It was a huge weekend for the Phoenix SUNS.
I found this hanging banner, signed by Channing Frye himself, for $2.00 at D.I.
To say the boys were excited is a huge understatement.
I also brought home this XL framed vintage tennis magazine cover for $9.99 from Goodwill.
Did I mention I love tennis?
And this 7 foot bookshelf I found at Mesa Thrift for $19.99, as is. It has such great vintage appeal and now sits in my living room.
So, what did I want for Mother's Day?
Chocolates?
Flowers?
Diamonds?
I wanted a photo of all my kiddos.
I asked them Sunday morning for 10 minutes of camera time.
They all cooperated and I got just what I wanted for Mother's Day.

  1. Hi Laura
you might want to think twice on the girl lamp. I have seen ones like that go for quite a bit on ebay. If you're going to list it make sure to lose the shade, lol. Good luck it's a beauty.

  2. Such a cute picture. I love Eden's little polka dots and how little she looks among all those boys. How does she sleep through everything? When Zoe was that age she wouldn't sleep unless it was dead quiet.

  4. Evie has the same polka dots. I've walked by your house every morning at 5:45 the past few days pushing Eve, and I've wondered if you were up with your baby. I still need to see her!
