Ten years ago, I started writing as a dare from a friend, but never took myself seriously until 3 years ago. It's so hard to balance everything in my life and when you mentioned how you feel when you write hit me hard. I fee the exact same way. I have two small children and I think I'm finally figuring out a way to make it work. Lots of juggling and it's not easy. Good luck. You will achieve your dreams.Christine Danekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00979611961825725350noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5343939021922948155.post-60772227591250681602012-02-24T13:50:07.753-08:002012-02-24T13:50:07.753-08:00We should talk. I wrote a book (that is just ok, but SO MUCH FUN to write) and am now editing it. Not to any end, I suppose, as I don't think publishing is realistic, but I don't want to die and have someone discover a sloppy piece of crap on my laptop. I want that sucker edited, man.

I understand getting sucked into a world of your own mental creation to the detriment of the real people I physically brought to this earth. Luckily I don't feel as passionate about editing as I do about the first draft, so my kids aren't eating sandwiches or cereal EVERY night...just some. :)Abbey Casas Ricehttp://www.mainericefamily.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5343939021922948155.post-38208579603808872822012-02-24T13:42:40.116-08:002012-02-24T13:42:40.116-08:00A little, but I can certainly understand how you f...A little, but I can certainly understand how you feel while balancing your life b/w being a mother and writer/blogger.

I am married, working and sometimes try to blog. trust me I give my 10% to my blog because I have to be a home maker and a wife. Both of us work during odd hours, in graveyard shifts, he comes home a little early and I have to wake up a little early to make sure that my husband doesn't go empty stomach and he has something to eat (healthy food is also a concern) during breaks in his 9 and a half hours long shifts.

I can only take a deep breath when i think of you loving, caring and handling 5 cute and naughty kids.

Best wishes for your future as a writer. I know you will rock!!SSU by Jiyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18105770396799537120noreply@blogger.com
