My second son (2 years) decided to walk to his brother's school. He crossed a six-lane road while I was driving around looking for him. They found him on the playground & held him up in the cafeteria where he was identified by a neighbor. This was pre-cellphones, so I found out where he was only when I returned home to call the police. The school secretary just let the phone ring until I answered.

After the many lectures he got later, I told him how scared I was, and he said, "I scared, too, Mommy!"

I believe angels guarded his steps that day.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11032519794293863811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5343939021922948155.post-9764370357235651612010-01-15T13:15:19.469-08:002010-01-15T13:15:19.469-08:00I was standing in our front yard w/my 2yr old son....I was standing in our front yard w/my 2yr old son. No cars nearby. I turned to pick up a piece of trash someone had tossed and heard the squeal of brakes. I looked up to see a car in front of my son. "LORD HELP!" The car stopped inches in front of my son. I knew then that an angel had put its wings between my son and the car. An angel's wings.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5343939021922948155.post-81296951823133768542010-01-15T12:23:39.917-08:002010-01-15T12:23:39.917-08:00What we do not remember about our experiences coul...What we do not remember about our experiences could fill tomes.
Barbara BAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5343939021922948155.post-8986425430380358032010-01-15T09:41:20.183-08:002010-01-15T09:41:20.183-08:00This took my breath away, as I remember when my gr...This took my breath away, as I remember when my grandson who was almost exactly Reef's age with white hair that seemed like a ray of sunshine, was in my backyard on the pool deck. He was jumping back and forth on the raised steps on the deck of the pool. My heart sank as I realized what COULDV'E happened. I know exactly the feelings you described. Someone had left the pool gate open. I was sickened by what couldv'e happened but thanked the Lord that nothing had! Precious little ones!Ginghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05428974739872152319noreply@blogger.com
